I'm Monique Mayers — author, strategist, and builder. Barbados-born and Canada-based, I create books, businesses, and content that matter. This personal website, moniquemayers.com, is where I share my work, story, and speaking presence.

AI & LLM processing disclosure
I use artificial intelligence tools as part of my creative and professional workflow. In some limited circumstances, information shared with me may be processed using AI tools as described below.
As a technologist and AI strategist, AI tools are a meaningful part of how I work. This may affect you in the following ways:
- Information you share in a speaking inquiry or contact form may be reviewed with AI assistance to help me prepare and respond thoughtfully
- Some content on this site may have been created with AI assistance, reviewed and approved by me before publishing

I do not submit personal contact details to AI platforms in a way that stores or trains on your data where I can reasonably prevent it. If you have concerns about AI processing, please let me know before reaching out for professional services.
International data transfers
I am based in Canada. Some of the platforms and tools I use may store or process data in the United States or other countries. I take reasonable steps to ensure your data receives appropriate protection regardless of where it is processed.
For EEA users, I rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms as the basis for cross-border transfers.
Data retention
I retain personal information only as long as necessary. Contact inquiries are generally retained for up to 2 years. Newsletter subscribers are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Analytics data is retained per the settings of my analytics provider.
